As I said in my last post, I have done a lot of summer shopping. Nordstrom had a huge sale these past few weekends and I took advantage of that. From shopping and going to FIDM, I am always noticing new trends and trying to incorporate them into my wardrobe. I have been obsessed with the knit sweater sleeveless crop top, and I have seen tons of celebrities and students at my school wearing them. I love the look and high neckline, along with how cute they look on. The 90’s is making a comeback and I love it!
Vanessa Hudgens literally makes anything look good.
I am loving the over-the-knee sock trend. I was hesitant about this trend, but styled right it can flatter anyone. This trend has always been around but has never been that popular. Knee high socks go great with boots, heels and even sneakers, depending on the outfit. Several types of dresses and skirts can make the perfect outfit. Staying comfy with just a little thigh showing is enough to having a sexy, but cute and classy look all in one.
I was inspired by this simple styling trick/overall look, and I created my own.

Now is the time to try this trend! Confidence is key. Show all those people just how fashionable you can be.
I am loving that the ’90s grunge trend is back! I personally love this style and how effortless it looks. You can dress it up with some leather pants/shorts with tights, or you can wear some Doc Martens and a beanie for a more casual look.
Hilary Duff, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson, managed to make the trend work in no time. They pulled off this trend with one simple styling trick from the era: tying a flannel shirt around the waist.
I was inspired by this simple styling trick/overall look, and I created my own. I wore ballet flats instead of combat boots to give it a preppy twist and make it more my style.

The grunge trend is essential for fall and will follow through summer, so make sure you go buy that vintage flannel and Doc Martens, before the trend fades.
